RECENT EVENTS

sT KENTIGERN PROJECTS

We have been lucky enough to have St Kentigern's College come and awhi around our kura. They have worked hard with all the mahi they've done. It's been awesome to see their tamariki and ours making connections and building relationships.

NGA TUAKANA CAMP

Our Tuakana Syndicate have returned from Mt Manaia having had a great time snorkelling, kayaking, water sliding, fishing, exploring and even conquering Mt Manaia.

Nga Teina athletics

Our youngest tamariki had their Athletics during Week 3. It was so good to see our whanau come and tautoko all our tamariki as they threw, jumped, leaped and sprinted. Tau kē!

Cinderfella production

Cinderfella Hits the Field Days is a light hearted reimagining of the classic Cinderella story with a Hikurangi twist!

Cross country

Our tamariki leapt, hopped, crawled and sprinted their way around our Cross Country track this year! They all did amazingly, even some of our whānau got in to awhi our tamariki.

daffodil day

Our tamariki and school whānau are huge supporters of the Cancer Society and the awesome mahi that they do. This year we donned our yellow in all shapes, forms and attire to show our tautoko for those with cancer and those that awhi them.

HIKA-RIKI a matariki celebration

'Hika-riki a Matariki Celebration' . A huge thank you to Amber from Ngati Hine FM, the 9 schools that participated and all our whānau that came together to make this Hika-riki a memorable one!

JUMPING JUNE

We were so excited to support the NZ Heart Foundation, fundraising a whopping $6000 during Jumping June.  Check out the fun we had at our Jumping June Skipping event! Shout out to Ms. Moore for organising this awesome initiative.

MERC CAMP

Our Nga Tuakana tamariki were lucky enough to attend the Peter Blake Marine Education and Recreation Centre where they took part in the Blake Experience. They rock climbed, paddle boarded and did all sorts of awesome things.
