Bernina Fashion Awards

This year some of the senior girls entered the Bernina Wearable Arts Awards. They designed and made the outfits and some of the other girls modelled them. It was a huge undertaking, with lots of valuable lessons learned along the way. At the show, the models appeared confidently before hundreds of spectators which was a really daunting thing to do. They won the Best School Award (a sewing machine and Smart TV) and put Hikurangi School on the fashion map! Ka rawe girls, everyone is so proud of you all.
